In December 2017 there was launched human papilomavirus (HPV) free vaccination program for 9 years-old girls born in 2008 and 2009 years.
Vaccine is not free for girls of other group age.
- The vaccine is recommended both for girls and boys from 9 to 13 years range.
- The vaccine consists of 2 doses and is done in 2 stages/shots.
- In adults and adolescents aged 14 and over, there are used 3 doses of vaccines.
Age of vaccination after 9 years is not limited. Vaccination is recommended before the beginning of sexual life; however, it can be done during sexual life.
